TRAVELING LIGHT

let go. and let your

soul. shine

"let's just go"

Hallelujah!

Many people associate the word healing with tumors vanishing, crutches being tossed aside, and a chorus of Hallelujah! Things like this can happen. It’s true. We can heal ourselves. It’s also true that it’s more common for healing to be gradual and subtle: You wake up one moment and realize “Gee, I haven’t felt pain in over a week.” You might lose the obsession over your ex. You’ve suddenly gained a craving for exercise. Or you might simply break out in a smile of joy…just because…and realize that you hadn’t done that in a really long time.

Healing occurs at the pace you are ready for it to occur and there are many factors that influence that readiness…factors that you may or may not be aware of. It’s a cliche, but healing is a process. Are you just beginning the process or have you been at it for some time?

Regardless, you have to choose the path of healing and being true to yourself, over and over. And when you do, little by little or all at once, life becomes easier, even when it’s hard. Voila.

Instead of as a “cure”, healing can be described as the end of suffering. The answer is yes, you can heal yourself, but it takes initiative and commitment…and you may have to relieve yourself of pressure to have a Big Miracle Right Now.
